As we continue to navigate through our reopening phase, we will modify our visitation policy accordingly.
This week, both St. Louis County and the State of Missouri have updated their guidance for businesses and visiting pertaining to senior living and long term care.
Beginning on Tuesday, May 11th, reservations will not be required for indoor and outdoor visits with open visiting between the hours of 10:00am to 4:30pm.
All visitors will be required to come to check in at the front office of the East Building. After checking in, Mari de Villa staff will escort you to the room that you would like to visit. We are trying to be understanding of everyone's desire to visit, and while there is not a specific time limit for visits, we would ask visits would take place for 30 to 45 minutes, or less. We are asking for modest visit times as Mari de Villa will need to keep a log and be aware of all visitors within the buildings throughout the day.
Some of the current reopening policies will be as follows:
Indoor visits are limited to 2 visitors at a time
All Visitors must check in at the East Office (the entrance behind the fountains and flagpoles). Other entrances will remained locked
Visits are to only take place in the guest's room. At this time, visits may not take place in any of the dining rooms, living rooms, event rooms, or hallways.
In an effort to limit the number of people in a room at one time and allow for you to visit with your loved one, Mari de Villa staff will not interrupt your visit. Because of this, we ask that visits be limited to 30 minutes. (Our staff is available at anytime during a visit, should there be a need)
Masks are required upon entry of the building and walking throughout the building*
*Additional mask policies will be posted online and at the front office
Additional and current policies will be posted at the front office as well as MDVcontact.com
Full Reopening Policies will be posted no later than Monday, May 10th on MDVcontact.com
