As of Wednesday, December 23, we do not have any positive cases within either building. We will continue to frequently test until we are able to sustain continued negative tests throughout residents and staff.
On Tuesday of this week Mari de Villa was informed that we can anticipate enough vaccinations (Moderna) for all of our residents and staff. While it will still be the choice of each individual and/or their responsible party, we will have enough for everyone. Should it be decided that someone will receive the vaccination they will be required to fill out and sign a “Covid Vaccine Intake Consent Form” from CVS Pharmacy. Our staff is preparing to fill out the forms for all residents and we will be in contact with all responsible parties over the coming days to make arrangements for the forms to be reviewed and signed. While it is preferred that carbon copy form is the option that is completed, we do have a digital version for anyone that is out of town or unable to come to Mari de Villa to sign the form. We will continue to remain in contact with everyone as we complete these forms.
CVS/Omnicare has not yet indicated a date(s) for the vaccines to be administered considering their pharmacists and staff will be administering each dose. We are doing our best to coordinate the date(s) with CVS and attempting to stagger the dates for the first and second doses.
Again, we will be in contact with you over the coming days to coordinate a time for any responsible parties to come to Mari de Villa for the consent form signatures, or to make arrangements should you not be able to sign in person.
