As we continue to navigate through our reopening phase, we will modify our visitation policy accordingly.
At this point, we have successfully begun reopening with scheduled indoor visits, that began last month. Our goal is to continue to have more opportunities for indoor and outdoor visits among guests with their family and friends. Mari de Villa is licensed and operates as a skilled nursing facility and we are following the recommendation, guidance, and restrictions from the State of Missouri. The current guidance can be found here https://health.mo.gov/living/healthcondiseases/communicable/novel-coronavirus/pdf/mo-guidance-long-term-care-facilities.pdf
Currently, indoor visits are to take place in a designated room or in a resident’s room, and are to limit travel throughout the building. Further, it is recommended that we continue to have reservations and set times for visits. In addition to precautions related to Covid-19, we also understand how important it is to spend time with your loved ones and our staff will allow that to transpire during your visit. Our staff is available for all needs but will try to allow your visit to take place, uninterrupted.
At this time, we will continue to have reservations scheduled on our website, MDVcontact.com. However, we will be adjusting the system to allow for additional visits throughout the day. We are intending to limit indoor visits, especially in a guest’s room, to two people at a time. Outdoor visits will allow for more flexibility and allow for visits with more people and for a longer period.
We understand the importance of visits and are doing our best to return to normalcy. Please feel free to reach out at any time if you have questions about the visitation policy.
In the event that you need to cancel a visit, please let us know as soon as possible so that we are able to reopen that time slot.
Every situation is unique and we are here to work with each resident and family at Mari de Villa. Please do not hesitate to reach out should you have any questions. We appreciate everyone’s understanding throughout all of this.
All of us at Mari de Villa understand this is a very difficult time for our families and we want to do everything we can to ensure that your loved ones are taken care of. We are continuing to provide the same level of care, and then some! Please reach out at anytime for updates, questions, concerns.
As always, we can be reached 24 hours per day. Do not hesitate to reach out at any time.
